The PTA recognizes her role as a major stakeholder in the welfare of staff and students of Jephthah Comprehensive Secondary School as entrenched in her bye-law (article 2 section iii a and d). Hence an annual PTA project is executed every year.
The general house is yet to decide on the 2006/2007 PTA project, however, the Executive Council is rubbing minds with the school authority to ascertain areas the PTA could best come in to assist.
So far we are looking at:
(a) Purchase of more books for the school library
(b) Purchase of vehicle for the sick bay/clinic
Among others
Projects executed by PTA in the school in the past include:
(a) Donation of a 32-seater Coaster Bus
(b) Re enforcement of the school out fence
(c) Donation of 15 computer systems and 3 printers
(d) Sponsoring of students (in part) to the Word Conference on Environment in Japan
